Hello Parents of BLT,
Another fun week! Had a great circle time practicing and sharing rhythms. Also, I made the mistake of assigning the homework from the levels that they made it to and would have been starting this week as I record the levels as they close their computers down and all had “levelled up” but did not start that level. Apologies. Some have since passed two levels so their homework will be updated.
Reminder, if people advance levels at home, make sure your child knows which level they are currently on.

Lexie just finished level 5! Moving on to Mr. Bach next.
HW couple of sessions with Miss Melody on level 5 to review what she learned with Beethoven. I would also suggest bongo boy as rhythm will greatly help in the next stage when she learns holding notes.

Sorry, last week they were on level 7 working on their holding notes, so again for this week:
Level 8! Two hands at the same time-high and low notes. They also learned the numbers for each of their fingers on the piano.
HW. Review which fingers are what numbers (thumbs are 1 and work up to 5). Review miss melody. Play some bongo boy!

Made it to Level 10! This level reinforces all the new notes and beats they are learning. 1, 2, 3, and 4 beat notes.
HW Some more practice with Miss Melody (9 and 10). Also, count out 1&2&3&4& and ask them to hum or sing a note of each length (to the end of the &s of whichever number beat).

Clare and Sophia and Jordyn this time completed Level 21 and will be moving on to Level 22.
HW Review Miss Melody Level 21. Also, in the Library, try out some Folk Tunes Hands Together. The more reading, the better.

This week Denessa finished Chapter 1 (Level 25) of MusIQ Club and now will move on to the second Chapter and program! Congrats.
HW Pick some songs out of the library to try with both hands together!
